A Division of Kara-Kata Afrobeat Society of Canada Africa Educational project
Gospel Proclaimers Group of Schools is located in Ekiti State, Nigeria. The home state of Kara-Kata’s founder, Toyin Kayo-Ajayi. Our school project was founded in 2006 funded by Mr. Kayo-Ajayi in conjunction with the local community. The school started off with 10 students in total for nursery, kindergarten and primary ages. In 2015, the secondary school was ready with 8 students. Today the lower school has over 120 students and the secondary school has over 80 students. There are 40 school rooms completed and functioning. Our teachers come from the local areas. The school administrator is Pastor Kolade Kayo-Ajayi.
As part of our education program, the students visit our 50 Acres Plus Farm project, to learn about sustainable agriculture, protecting the environment, and they participate in a tree planting initiative.
If you would like to contribute to the ED for All, the school is seeking donations for upgrades to existing structures, expansion, repairs, IT department and school buses.
